A few weeks after the release of the video on YouTube, the new single by Sere, an emerging singer-songwriter from Trentino who also presented a song written more than ten years ago in memory of a dear friend who died prematurely, is also released on all the main digital platforms. "It was the only way I had to transmit everything I had inside: I took the guitar and started playing, and the words came out as if they had already been written." The result was a nostalgic and introspective ballad, which is not a simple dedication, but which turns into an inner search for the meaning of life, and which ends with an invitation to leave insecurities aside and live the present in its fullness . That song, along with some others, was destined to remain closed in a drawer, when suddenly everything became clear.
"I was at church, at my grandmother's funeral, when an elderly gentleman approached me: I thought that like the others he would have given me condolences, and instead he took my hand in his and said to me" Keep singing, never stop". That was the moment when I realized that, as I had written in my song, I couldn't wait any longer: despite my insecurities and my fear of getting involved, the time had come to try, the moment to really live. And so I contacted a recording studio, and I met Luca Valentini: an excellent professional, but, more importantly, a person of great sensitivity, who followed me in the arrangement and in the video production, and that I will never stop thanking for having contributed to realizing what until recently was only a beautiful dream in the drawer ".
Always passionate about music in all its forms, at the age of eight Serena Filippi joined the parish choir and began studying the transverse flute, which she will play for more than 10 years in the country's musical band. But it is towards the age of 13, when he learns to play the guitar as an autodidact, that he feels the need to express himself not only through music, but also through
words. In the meantime, he also added traditional studies to his musical activity: after his scientific high school diploma in 2005 he obtained a degree in economics and commerce, and in the same year he graduated in flute from the Conservatory. With voice, guitar and transverse flute he has played for more than 15 years of a local dance / folk music group, performing in more than 100 street concerts. With a different musical background, he also accompanied numerous wedding celebrations with his voice and flute.
At the birth of his first child, he temporarily suspended the musical activity, but to give vent to his creativity he started cooking, and from this new passion a cooking blog was born, If it is not Pumpkin it is Pan Bagnato, which over time has become a consolidated reality in the world of foodbloggers. He has worked as an administrative manager in the family business since 2005, and now that his second daughter has also grown up, he has always resumed his musical activity with the same passion, but with more awareness. After publishing "Attimo" he has clear ideas: "I'm already working on the next songs ... My dream? A concert in the theater where I can transmit my whole inner world, thanks to the power of words and music ".
